Years
ago, I was shaped by parents and grandparents who cared
for their family, home and friends. They entertained, cooked,
created, mended, learned, shared and inspired others.
The
people that met us in our
homes were diverse, interesting, active and intelligent.
And I was inspired.
When mainstream messages turned away from "home-thinking"
and gave way to the idea of a
dual-career family and work/family balance
challenges, I listened and followed.
But in the pursuit of this newly-branded American dream,
I was reminded of what is really important to me. I followed
my dreams and opened an art gallery and creative arts education
center. And though I still love art and creativity, I quickly
realized that the format of the venture was way too limiting
for my ideas. So I began to shape what is known today at
the Artistic Lifestyling Company.
Through this company I am able to articulate my passions
about living creatively. And more than ever I am enthusiastic
about sharing my ideas about living wildly creative lives
in nurturing
spaces.
If these ideas resonate with you as well, I invite you to
explore, share, and be inspired as we continue our journey
back home.
Warmly,
